Lavender Bath Water

Simmer a large bunch of lavender in 2 cups of water in a saucepan, covered, for 5 minutes. Let the water cool before removing the lid, or most of the fragrant oil will evaporate. Strain. Add an equal amount of white wine vinegar to the liquid. Keep in a cool, dark place and use to perfume bath water.
